Faustus Armor Concept Process & Final

Another wicked fun commission for Waruc Cosplay of one of his main characters, Faustus, in his world! Since this was another from scratch design process to nail down what he felt he should look like, we started again with the helm to base the entirety of his armor off of it and have that be the focal point for the rest of the design.

After the helmet, we continued on to the main concept. His sword and shield shape were already put together, so my work on that is strictly some options for the carved inlay/motifs.
After the final concept turnaround, we decided to do scene-setting pose to get the idea of his home location.

This was an absolute blast to do, it's always fun working with Waruc Cosplay, he's got some fantastic ideas and I cannot WAIT to see this bad boy come to life in his build! Thank you again!

Helmet process, the first part of the overall concept. The client had a few specific key inspirations he wanted to include, with the base overall feel being a golden-faced, angelic helmet with some specific features to include.
